Quality Education

Providing universal access to quality education is at the core of TTI Foundation’s mandate. We envision empowered rural communities where all children can attend school, regardless of their gender or socio-economic backgrounds. Our focus on education is inspired by the story of our founder, Dr. Tererai Trent, who faced many obstacles on her journey to achieve her own education.

With the strong belief that education is the pathway out of poverty, TTI Foundation is working with its partners on many different projects and initiatives to enhance the quality of education in the communities we serve. We are currently building and renovating schools, training teachers, promoting community wide literacy, providing clean water for students and families, building a school canteen to feed students, improving girls’ school attendance, providing solar energy for electricity and web-based education programs, among other initiatives.

Beyond the programs in Zimbabwe, we also have developed the Tinogona Global Curriculum, where students from abroad may gain real knowledge about Africa and exchange with students internationally.
