The TTI Endowment: Rooted enough to last
We are growing an $8 million endowment to protect and expand Tererai’s legacy – to root it deeply enough to endure.
The TTI endowment is a shared commitment to intergenerational possibility.
When you give to our endowment, you become part of a long-view story – one that ties your legacy to the ongoing brilliance of girls, families, and communities who are building futures from within.
Why an Endowment?
Too often, community-driven work is shaped by short-term cycles and project-specific grants.
An endowment creates something different: a self-sustaining financial root system that can nourish this work for generations.
Endowment gifts are invested, and the annual returns fund:
Student scholarships
School infrastructure
Local leadership development
Emergency resilience for partner communities
This isn’t about growth for growth’s sake. It’s about sovereignty, dignity, and stability.
What You’re Investing In
When you invest in our endowment, you’re not not just donating money. You’re helping shape a regenerative model – one that:
🌍 Champions Shared Dignity & Ubuntu
Honors the truth that when rural Zimbabwean women rise, we all rise.
🌿 Catalyzes Intergenerational Healing
Supports new patterns of inheritance grounded in possibility, not limitation.
🤝 Grows the Global Sawhira Movement
Backs women and change makers who lead change from within, not apart from, their communities.
📜 Builds a Living Legacy
Offers your and our children and grandchildren a story of justice and joy to inherit.
