Investing in Girls’ College Education

In 2024 we are raising $400,000 to send 22 Students to College and support three rural primary schools.
We are looking for 20 Baton Activators to each fundraise $20,000 by August 2023.
In Zimbabwe, due to historical inequities that have shaped the poor, many rural girls are married before the age of 18 and 5% are married before their 15th birthday.

Investing in Girls’ Higher Education is the right thing to do.
We invite you to join us as a Baton Activator and make the pledge to raise $20,000 for TTI, toward tuition fees for our fourth cohort of 22 students (70% girls) heading to university and college in August 2023 and three primary schools in rural Zimbabwe.

In the rural areas where our Foundation work, child marriage is exacerbated by poverty.

Underage girls from the poorest households are more likely to drop out of school than their urban peers because their parents cannot afford to pay school fees, which in turn puts rural girls at a higher risk of marrying young. Without education, many rural girls marry early just as their mothers and grandmothers did before
them, perpetuating the cycle.

And this is why we are asking for your help in our quest to invest in a brighter future for these students.
