Empowering Future Generations with Technology
The Matau Solar Energy Project has been established to install solar panels at our schools in order to address the educational challenges outlined. This strategy will boost computer literacy, enable post-secondary students to advance their education, and allow rural girls who may be struggling to go to school to continue their education at any level.
Solar-Based Energy
Investment in solar energy is one of the best options for providing electricity in Zimbabwe today.

Creation of Web-Based Programs
We promote web-based education programs to allow rural girls struggling to educate themselves outside of the typical school setting, an opportunity to continue their education at any level.
Computer-Based Learning
Improved Learning through Solar Energy
While a few of our schools have access to a few shared computers, electricity continues to be scarce and unreliable. Electricity is needed not only to power computers at our schools, but also for lights and other basic instruction equipment.
Providing our schools with solar energy will give students an enhanced learning environment, including access to online learning programs to prepare them for today’s modern world. Also, by providing scholarships to girls while increasing their computer literacy, they will be more likely to provide a better future for themselves and their families.
